Hello friends, welcome to the blog. From now, this will be my personal blog. I will be sharing my thoughts and here. So, from a while, I have been procrastinating a lot and couldn't be able to focus on my studies and other works. A lot of working is still pending on my desk and my exams are also coming in few days 😞 The time I have procrastinated, I have watched many movies and TV series. The last series I watched was friends, and truly, it is one of the most refreshing, addictive, funniest of tv series.
Friends is one of the best sit coms ever produced on television. Its is show of 6 friends living together and story revolves around their lives, It connects to all the characters in the show with you very easily. And once you start watching it, you want more and more of it 😛 Keeping this aside, friends is the show which teached me many lessons in life too. So, in this post I am going to tell you what I learned from friends?
Friends is one of the best sit coms ever produced on television. And once you start watching it, you want more and more of it 😛 Keeping this aside, friends is the show which teached me many lessons in life too. So, in this post I am going to tell you what I learned from friends?
1. Never care of what everyone will think and Do what You LOVE.
Phoebe is the character from the show who is carefree, direct and does what she like whatever may be the situation. She is terrible at singing and might not be having best voice, nd mostly hated by people when she sings in public. Still she never gives up on her passion and keep singing around coffeehouse and other places.
Like her, in our life, we should also be following our passion and should not care at all about "Log kya kahenge?" It's you who are always going to be with till the end, and the opinion of other people should not change or influenece your thinking.
2. Never be fake in your life. Show your true self to everyone.
Most of people be fake around other people in life to impress them. They don't usually be themselves and constantly trying to show others that they are leading happy life on social media too. Remember this moment, when chandler tries to pose for pic ,but can't smile? That's it, can't smile in fake way just for photos.
3. When you love a person, Do what it all takes to be with that person.
The most famous love story from the show is Ross and Rachel. Ross loved Rachel from the beginning. They also came together but had a break up. But it was clear that they had not stopped loving each other. In the end of the show, when Rachel was leaving, Ross had gone all the way upto airport to not lose her. But still Rachel went into the plane anyway. But then she realized what useful was going to Paris if she could not be with the one she loved. And then she got back from the plane, and they came back together.
Ross and Rachel did everything they could do to get to each other, and then eventually they did. So, once you love somebody or something, try your best to be with that person. Because you might wanna regret the one opportunity you didn't take in future.
4. When you are going through something in your life, don't hesitate to share it with your friends.
One of the reasons that the six friends in the show were so close that they shared everything with one another. This connected them and built their friendship even stronger. Even in their brightest and darkest of moments, they had one another.
One must understand that friends are great assets of one's life. Friends will understand all of your problems and will be there. So, don't be a loner or alone and make some friends who are worthy and to whom you can share. Becaause, at the last, trust me, you are going to regret being a loner.
5. Don't give up on your dreams
If you have watched the last episode of friends, Monica goes to owning her own restaurent, Chandler gets the job which he loves after working for so many years in a company for a job he was not interested at all. Joey gets bigger acting jobs, but did he get best acting jobs from beginning itself?, NO. He continued to do whatever work he got for 11 years untill he got successful. So, it's actually worth it to not give up on your dreams ,ever.
6. If you want something in your life, Go get it.
Remember, when Chandler was going to propose and screwed up and Monica ran into Richard? Monica wanted to marry him but thought things couldn' go further and hence didn't asked him. But one day she did it herself.
Monica (proposing to Chandler): You wanted it to be a surprise.
Chandler: Oh my God.
Monica: Chandler, in all my life, I never thought I would be so lucky (she starts sobbing) to fall in love with my best, my best. There’s a reasons why girls don’t do this!
7. No matter how much you grow up, never let child inside of you die
Chandler, this name first comes in our mind 😜 He always cracks up jokes and humor in worst of worst situations. Joey is another one. He doesn't hesitate to cry when his friend is moving out or even eating cheesecake from the floor. And how can we forget phoebe, and this scene when she is running like a child.
So, don't be afraid to express your emotions, do silly things, and live life to the fullest.
And in the end, Friends make life better 😊
